Meet Poppy – Our Office Chaos Creator 🐾

Poppy is a lovable Frenchie/Bulldog mix who became part of Amy and Rob Prihoda’s family on March 9, 2026, and quickly became part of the PCRS family too. Her story is one of resilience, second chances, and a whole lot of love.

Amy and Rob first discovered Poppy on the Murphy's Paw Rescue page and instantly fell in love with her little smushy face. At the time, Poppy had already overcome so much. Originally found as a stray in California, she was brought to a local shelter where her future was uncertain. The night before she was scheduled to be euthanized, Murphy’s Paw Rescue stepped in, saved her life, and helped bring this sweet girl all the way to Connecticut.

Now, Poppy is truly living her best life. She spends her days at the office with Amy, keeping the team smiling and making fast friends with customers who stop by. Around the office, she’s best known for chasing her ball at full speed, carrying around her favorite stuffies, and creating the perfect amount of adorable chaos wherever she goes.

Poppy absolutely loves attention, belly rubs, and collecting as many pets as possible throughout the day. If you stop by our office, there’s a very good chance she’ll be ready to greet you with a wagging tail and plenty of personality.
