Frozen Pipes Create Havoc in Watertown, CT.

A freeze up the winter of '23 caught a lot of people off guard and this client came home to a huge mess after their bathroom plumbing froze and burst infiltrating the adjacent kitchen. Even just a few hours of active leaking can easily create the environment for mold growth, and it was clear after our team arrived that most of the effected drywall and materials in the kitchen would have to be torn out.

When PCRS approaches any water loss we remove only what IICRC standards say must go and what can be dried and restored. Sometimes, as was the case in the water loss, the kitchen cabinets, backsplash, and the drywall had to be removed and replaced. Luckily our client knew the right contractor to safely restore their property, quickly, and efficiently, preventing secondary damage.
